Tutoring this week is on Wednesday and Thursday till 3:20.
Read for 20 minutes each night. Make sure you retell someone what you have read. Have them quiz you on what they heard you read. Also, practice reading fast. To prepare you for assessments.

REMEMBER to have your child bring 24 Valentine’s Card to share on THURSDAY, February 14th. *No candy-small toys are OK. See the previous post for any additional info. We don’t have a class party, we have a card exchange at 1:05 followed by a short game. No volunteers needed for this 😉

HOMEWORK-Reflex to a green light every night. We are battling other 4th grade classes on Fridays! ***Don’t do REFLEX on Friday mornings…we use this one for the battle. We WON last week by a few seconds.

ReadWorks – Finish all the older articles. I have assigned two new ones this week. You can do these at home, or in your ELA center. You pick!

READ for 20 minutes out loud!!! Ask the person you are ready with the ask you questions. Then, retell to them what you have read. PRACTICE Read and Retell!!!

We are going to be battling another 4th grade class this FRIDAY, be ready…..I would earn a green light every single night to be ready 😉

Friend “Ram” Grams will be on sale Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week before and after school for 25 cents each. Kindergarten-4th grade Ram Grams will be sold in the Q1 building, and 5th grade-junior high Ram Grams will be sold in Q2. Ram Grams will be delivered on Thursday morning to the students’ homerooms or first period class, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

In our class we have a Prize Drawer. I use this as an incentive to earn Mastery scores in iReady throughout the week. We have been doing so well at this, that our prizes are running out. If anyone would be willing to pick some small prizes up to add to our stash, that would be awesome! It can be anything, just not candy/food. Thanks so much 😉

If your child hasn’t mastered all of their math standards or needs to work on ELA, have them stay for tutoring. Tutoring hours are 3-3:25 Monday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tutoring is only for students in my class. Siblings will need to wait in the hall or office during this time.

Read for 20 minutes and retell someone what they read. 
REFLEX practice to a green light. 
Math worksheets are being sent home with them. These are due Friday morning. “How To” Video is in our Google Classroom :0)

I am going to submit the Scholastic Book order Friday. If you would like to order something, please do so by Thursday evening.

Reflex to a “GREEN LIGHT” every night. Then, practice a little longer for practice if you have time.

Check and may sure you have finished ALL of your READWORKS assignments. REMEMBER, you can only miss two questions. ALSO, make sure you are logged in as YOU, not someone else in your family.

READ for 20 minutes and summarize what you have read on the homework link on Thursday evening.
