Our 2^nd graders have begun work on our Rock Unit.  We are excitedly looking forward to learning about metamorphic, sedimentary, and igneous rocks. Part of our unit includes a lab where we look at the makeup of each particular rock category.  We will be using chocolate chip cookies, as well as Snickers Bars, as learning tools. Quest Academy requires us to get parental permission to allow the students to be able to eat food in the classroom.  If you would like your child to be able to participate in this learning experience, please sign and return the permission slip before April 19^th.  If you do not want your child to participate we will have a separate activity that they will be able to do.
