The week of May 22nd

Oh my goodness! This school year has flown by so quickly and I am left wondering where the time has gone. We are entering our last week of school and there is so much going on. Please make sure that your child brings a backpack everyday to school. I am going to start sending home items this week when we start cleaning out desks, and it is amazing all of the stuff that your child will bring home. Below is what we will be doing over the course of the next week.

TIE DYED T-SHIRTS – You might have noticed that your child brought home a tie dyed t-shirt on Friday. We would like your child to wear this shirt to field day. Here are the washing instructions:

ICE CREAM MULTIPLICATION PARTY – On Tuesday, May 23rd @ 2:20, we will be having our Multiplication Ice Cream Party. Students have been working hard to pass off their multiplication facts and earning their toppings for a banana sundae. I am also looking for volunteers, so if you would like to help out, please let me know.

THIRD GRADE FIELD DAY – Field Day is on Wednesday, the 24th.  We will be meeting at Stonefield Park. The address is 4529 S 4700 W, West Haven. It is about .8 of a mile from Quest Academy. We will need all parents to drop off their students at the park between 8:00–8:30.  The permission form stated that students could wear their swimsuits. However, West Haven City in not allowing us to access the water so students SHOULD NOT wear their swimsuits. As stated above under the Tie Dye T-Shirt sections, we would like all students to wear their t-shirts. This is considered a dress down day. Please do not send your child in flip flops or sandals. – FIELD DAY PERMISSION FORM

Students in the PM Kindergarten class will perform in the afternoon for their classmates (watch for an email from Ms. Monique). There are limited spots per grade level, so sign up quickly.
