Don’t forget to check homework folders for additional homework that comes home. All homework is due my Monday of the next week.
We are beginning our new science unit on Force and Motion. We are also starting our math chapter on Money. If you have change at home, please allow your child to sort it and count it to become more familiar with the coins. Your child will be coming home with their math workbook. Please do not feel alarmed if it is mostly unused. The math program provided is great, but we have tweaked it to be more efficient and I use worksheets that I have created specifically for the standards we are assessing. This book is for them to do what they please with and can be a great tool to continue working on skills over the summer.
