This week’s STEM project for our second graders is to create a landform. Each student has been asked to choose a landform based on the following video:
The challenge is to design & create a landform exhibit which includes:
1. Type of landform
2. Animals that live on the landform
3. Plants/flowers that live on the landform.
Here is a link for your students to research their landforms as well as the plants and animals that live there.
Next Friday the 10th will be “create” day. The following items we are asking for the students to bring from home:
1. Shoe box
2. Old Magazines, (to cut pictures of animals, plants, or anything pertaining to their land form.
3. Small plastic animals & plants. (optional) Please limit to two each. Students can also draw their own animals & plants.
The Stem team will provide the following items:
1. Crayons/Markers
2. Construction paper/ tissue paper
3. Cotton Balls
4. Aluminum foil
