Final day of Bully Week.

Today was our final day.  The students role-played standing up to a bully and even enjoyed watching Mrs. Angelee and I yelling at each other.  We talked about ways to take the power away from the bully.  If you would like to know more, look up Brooks Gibbs. He is amazing at teaching kids how to stand up to a bully by not getting angry.  You can find him on YouTube.  Here is what our board looks like today!  We talked about making the world a better place by being the positive and overwhelming the negative, just like our board.
I really hope that this week made an impact on all of us.  The students were great at participating and I really feel like it improved our feeling of community in our classroom.
