Math tests and the Rock unit test came home with the weekly report today. You can see how your child did. Let me know if you have any questions! I will keep sending things home as we do not have any more Parent Teacher Conferences.
Thanks,
Mrs. Zimm
Cayden can bring in a poster about himself as well as a show-and-tell item. We can’t wait to get to know Cayden even better!
It was great to meet with everyone for Parent Teacher Conferences. I enjoy discussing your children and collaborating on their success. I appreciate everything you all do to support your learners.
Reading logs will be sent home on Monday.
For math, we are working on measuring lengths in inches and centimeters. We are also spiraling and reassessing for those who still are working on mastering the concepts we have already covered.
For Valentine’s Day, next week, students may bring a decorated box. Please use a shoe box-sized box and nothing larger. They will need to be stacked and stored throughout that day. Boxes may be brought in the morning of the 14th, not sooner, we will not have the room for them. They will be brought home the same day. There are 25 students in the class. It is easier to simply have your child write their name on the valentine and leave the “to” section blank. Candy and other edible treats are not allowed.
If you are interested in helping out with the party, please email me and let me know. The party will run from 10-11am.
Thanks for all you do,
Mrs. Zimm
Addison is our Star Student next week! That means that she gets to bring in a poster about herself. She also gets to bring in a show-and-tell item any day next week. We can’t wait to get to know more about Addison!

Thanks,
Mrs. Zimm

Hello!
Today your student brought home math worksheet page 151. They only need to do one problem tonight. They were given the choice between doing #6 or #7 only. This is the only work that will be done on the page tonight and we will go over it tomorrow. I really do need your student to bring this page back tomorrow. It is a great way to reinforce the learning.
Thanks for all you do,
Mrs. Zimm

Parents,
We had a FULL week of testing. We finally were able to finish up today and will be catching up a few next week. The students had a diagnostic test both in reading and in math. Each diagnostic took multiple days to complete. We also did our DIBELS reading testing on Tuesday and Thursday. Because of this, we did not do a Weekly Report. It was a full week and the students worked very hard. You should be very proud of them!
Thanks for all you do,
Mrs. Zimm
Emmie will be our Star Student! That means that she can bring in a show and tell item and a poster about herself. We can’t wait to learn more about Emmie!!
