A message went out today about Dollar Dress Down Friday.  Students may also bring a small stuffed animal to school.  This must be small enough to sit on the corner of their desk.

The end of the year is almost here! We are going to count down the last 26 days by celebrating a letter of the alphabet each day. Participation in these extra activities will be based on student behavior in class. The countdown will start on Friday, April 20th. Let’s make the rest of our 2nd Grade the Best Year Ever!

Welcome Back!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break!  We only have seven week left of the school year and so much to do!

Don’t forget that the animal dioramas are due on TUESDAY!  We will be having an open house that day from 9:30 to 10:30.  You are welcome to join us and see the creative displays.  We will also be finishing up our Google Slides presentations on our animals.  We will be presenting those next week for the last hour of each day.  If you would like to be there and have a day that works best for you, please let me know as soon as possible.  I will be creating the schedule this week.  The presentations will begin at 2pm.

   Below is the link for the instructions and grading rubric we will be using for the dioramas.  This project should be completed at home.  I posted earlier about this project and sent home a paper copy on yellow paper.
 Projects will be due on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. 
**We will have a open house on that day from 9:30-10:30 to show off their dioramas.
