Your student will be coming home next week with a folder labeled for homework.  Please check this folder regularly for any additional work that needs to be completed.

Tomorrow is Dollar Dress Down Day!  For one dollar, students may come to school out of uniform.  Students must still adhere to the dress code, no sleeveless, flip flops, etc.  Students are fine to come to school in uniform if they do not wish to participate.  This money goes directly back to our school.
We are not yet beginning homework.  The students will be learning the reading log next week so that it will be familiar when they start doing it at home.  I do not ever send work home that students will not recognize and have not received instruction about.

Hello parents!
Some of the students still do not have their supplies.  Please make sure they bring them next week.  Or please let me know if you do not plan on purchasing them so I can make necessary arrangements.  Your students are working so hard.  We are going to have a great year!

YAY!
The day is finally here!  It was so nice to meet the kiddos and parents at back to school night!  Please remember that parents may bring their students straight to the classroom in the morning.
For pick up, I will be bringing students out the east doors and to the front of the building.  You may arrange a meet up spot with your student.
Please make sure that your student is aware of what they are doing for lunch.  They may bring a home lunch or choose from one of the 4 entrees from our fabulous lunch program.

Back to School Night is Monday, August 14^th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Teachers will be introducing themselves and presenting classroom information (class disclosures, supplies, etc) every half hour. Feel free to choose the time that is most convenient for you and your student (5:30pm, 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm).

I cannot wait to meet everyone!  We are going to have an amazing year!
