About Me
This is my tenth year working at Quest Academy. I love this school and the sense of community it brings. I previously worked with Kindergarten through fifth grade students in the intervention program for three years. I was also a support teacher in a third grade classroom. I’ve enjoyed working with Special Education and struggling learners. I’ve also participated on the DIBELS testing team as well as the Child Study Team and enjoyed being a director for the school musical. I was fortunate enough to settle into 2nd and am looking forward to my sixth year on the 2nd grade team. I am so excited to be teaching second graders! They are so eager to learn and I love seeing them progress.I have been married for 20 years to my best friend and we have three amazing kids. I have a 2 college students and a high schooler. We love to travel and spend time together.
It is my intent and passion to develop young minds. I love creating an environment that fosters creativity and confidence. I believe in all of my students and their ability to become effective and positive citizens. Being able to see, first-hand, all the amazing things they accomplish in 2nd grade is a privilege that I am so grateful to have. I am looking forward to this year and am so excited to get started!
