Review for Test Tomorrow: I can count on to subtract

We will be having a test tomorrow on the standard named above. The kids were supposed to bring their review paper below home and practice a little for it. However, when I was preping for tomorrow, I notice several students who forgot to put them in their homework folder. I also sent home the math “Parent Letter” as review paper which goes along with this standard. It is in the front of their homework folder.

1. The FIRST thing that they should ALWAYS do is: circle and underline the important information.
2. Then they need to determine the parts (Addend/Subtrahend)  and the whole (sum/total)
3. Using this information, they should be able to fill in the number sentence/equation too:  Count on to subtract. If you have any questions let me know. Most of the kids are really doing well but it wouldn’t hurt to have a quick conversation to see if they can tell you what they should be doing. SEE BELOW
