Important MATH FLUENCY & Homework

Parents,
Just a little note about homework. I am having the students work on 2’s for timed math fluency again this week.

If your student DID NOT RETURN THEIR HOMEWORK from last week, THEY WILL NOT HAVE A FLUENCY TIMING ATTACHED TO THEIR HOMEWORK FOR THIS WEEK so you need to use the one you had from last week!!

I REALLY ,REALLY need to have homework turned in on time to make the math timings work especially in the beginning. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT to help your student complete everything, COMPLETELY, and return it on time (FRIDAY).

I really liked that some of the students left the answers from their last timing on the attached MATH fluency page. SO, please DON NOT erase the last timing of the week.

At this point in time, your student should ONLY BE TIMED FOR 1 MINUTE!!!! It’s OK if they don’t get all the way to the end at first, but by THURSDAY they should be able to finish 23/25 correctly in 1 minute.
