All About ME!

I was born in Greenville, South Carolina. I lived in both South Carolina and Georgia while growing up. My parents and brother’s family now reside in Utah as well.  I attended Erskine College in Due West, SC and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I moved to Ogden, Utah about 14 years ago to begin my teaching career.  I taught 9 years in the Ogden School District at Grandview Elementary and Shadow Valley Elementary.  I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten for 3 years and 2nd grade for 6 years.  I had a great experience, but I was excited and ready for a new adventure here at Quest Academy!  I’ve been here at Quest teaching third grade five years. Third grade is going to be so much fun this year!  It is the best grade EVER!!!  I can’t wait to meet all the students and their families!

I enjoy reading, being active outdoors, working out at the gym, pool time, traveling, going out to dinner and movies, and spending time with friends and family.  My brother lives in Ogden also, and I am very close with his children. I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with my niece and nephew.  They are my heart!  Here are some other important things about me:  Café Rio is the best restaurant ever!  Frozen yogurt makes me very happy!  I eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. I am obsessed with painting my nails!  I will almost always have them done.  I love shopping!!!! I played college softball.  I always try my very best, and I challenge my students to do the same! 🙂

Dannelia is a very bright girl she loves to read and play out she is very responsible when comes to her class duties she loves math and science she is very close to her family she gets well alone with her friends at school, she is well behaved, Dannelia is very exited to be in her new school and specially in your class she had a great impression on back to school night she came home very happy and exiting for school to start i think will have a great year in your class and at her new school.

  2. William couldn’t sleep last night, he was so excited to start at Quest this year! He is a very smart and polite individual who has a lot of energy and makes friends easily! We have taught him to take care of his buddies (everyone) and always leave his environment BETTER than he found it. We are so thrilled to have him enrolled at Quest and we’re looking forward to a great year! Thanks so much for all your support this morning, while we got him ready to begin his education in your classroom! I know he’ll love it!
