Aquarium Field trip Permission Slip

Please click on the link below, read the Aquarium field trip permission slip, and return to school by Tuesday, May 1st.  Please read the details very carefully.  THE PICK-UP TIME IS 4:15 PM from the Roy Front Runner Station!!!!
Parents that would like to join us need to pay their $15 admission to the office by Tuesday, May 1st as well.

Country Google Slides Presentations

Your children have all been working very hard to research and learn about the country they were assigned a few weeks ago.  After all the research was done, they each created their own Google Slides presentation.  Each child will be presenting them next week in the afternoons from 1:15-1:45.  Parents are more than welcome to come and see your child present their Google Slide.

Monday (4/23)- Kayliegh, James, Tristen, Keira, Kairi, Lirael
Tuesday (4/24)- Aaron, Landon, Roger, Hurley, Shae, Colter
Wednesday, (4/25)- Logan, Saidi, Koby, Kaleb, Addison, Keagan

**Important!!! RISE Testing Schedule!!!**

It’s time to get started with our end of year RISE testing.  I really want to make sure your children are well rested and full with a BIG, yummy breakfast on these testing dates.  Also, please make sure your children are here and are ON TIME these days!  We want them to be as successful as possible.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  

Also, research shows that students are calmer and focus better when they chew peppermint gum during tests.  So, I will be giving peppermint gum to the students during each session.  If you do not want your child to have gum, please contact me and let me know.  Thanks so much for all you do!

I hope you all had a fabulous Spring Break vacation!  Whether you stayed home or relaxed or went somewhere, I hope you had a nice time away from school. 🙂

**I will be continuing my Spring Break trip cruising Europe all week and 2 days of next week.  I want you all to know that Mrs. Price will be my sub the whole time I’m gone, and she is AMAZING!  She always subs for me when I am gone for long periods of time.  I fully trust her to teach your children while I am gone.  I have taught two of her children, so she knows exactly how I run my classroom and my expectations.  Everything will run very smoothly, but I wanted to give you all a heads up.**

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Don’t forget we are Springing forward with Daylight Savings time…losing an hour of sleep is hard, but we can do hard things!  The craziness is about to begin….3 weeks to SPRING BREAK!!!  SO much to do, and so little time.  SAGE testing will be starting right after Spring Break.

Spelling: Unit 5 Week 2 spelling sort

Math:  We will be finishing up/reviewing the FRACTIONS unit this week.  We will be testing on the entire fractions unit this Friday.
