Fieldtrip to the Children’s Theatre and State Capitol

We are going on our first field trip to the Children’s Theatre in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, December 6th.  Please read the attached permission slip with all the details about the day. I sent home a paper copy of the permission slip with each child today.  Please read the permission slip carefully, sign and return by this Friday, November 18th.  We are asking for a donation of $6.00 to cover the admission into the theatre and cost of buses.  Please turn that money into the front office as soon as possible.  WE would love as many parent volunteers to come and join us.  You will pay your $5.00 admission at the door on the day of the play.  We will not have room on the buses for parents to ride with us, so we ask that parents carpool together to and from Salt Lake.  Thanks so much for all your help and support!  WE are super excited to head out on our first third grade adventure together!

**Fieldtrip Reminder: Please Read!!**

Our field trip is tomorrow, April 21st. We need all children at the Frontrunner Station in Roy no later than 8:15. Please drop your student off there before bringing other children to Quest. We will NOT be able to wait for a late child to arrive.
Please make sure your child visits the restroom before you leave home, the train is not equipped to handle 120 children using the restroom.
If you feel your child needs something to do on the Frontrunner, they may bring a book, cards, a small travel game, or what you feel is appropriate. Please note we are not responsible for lost, broken or stolen items.
Your child needs a coat, a lunch, a water bottle, and a backpack. Their backpack is their desk and coatroom for the day.
Please do not send money. We are also asking that volunteer parents not purchase ANYTHING at the Aquarium.
We will be eating lunch outside. Please plan accordingly. No microwaves will be available.
We will return to the Roy Station at about 3:45.
Please do not take any child from the Frontrunner Station until you have checked them out with their teacher.

Aquarium Fieldtrip Permission Slip

The Aquarium fieldtrip is coming up on Thursday, April 21st.  Please open, print off, and read the permission slip very carefully. ( I will be sending home a paper copy today.)  On this fieldtrip, we will be taking the FrontRunner again.  The students need to be at the Roy Station by 8:15 AM and will need to be picked up by 3:45 PM.  This is NOT a mistake!  We know that this is past the time of a normal school day, but with our schedule for the day it is necessary.  We are asking for a $4.00 donation for each student to cover cost of Front Runner and bus/shuttle  transportation to and from the Draper Front Runner station.  All parents that would like to come can pay $7.00 at the front office as well.  All permission slips and money needs to be turned in by next Friday, April 15th.

Another February Field trip :)

We have the opportunity to go to the Clarke Planetarium on Wednesday, February 24th.  I know it’s late notice, but we just barely found out about it.  We will be taking the Front Runner to and from the Planetarium.  There is a link you can click on that reviews the itinerary for that day.  Please read the permission slip well, sign and return it to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, February 17th.  This field trip is completely FREE for ALL STUDENTS!  We have plenty of room for parents to come on this field trip with us, but you need to pay ahead of time in the office if you want to get in with a cheaper admission price of $6.00. We are excited to take part in this educational experience.  The students will learn all about the sun and the moon!
