Starting the Week of December 8th our homework will go as follows.
Reading– Every student at Quest is expected to read 20 minutes each night.
Math-Our goal in 4th grade is to pass off our Math Fluency for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will be using a program called XTRA math this year. Your child is expected to complete one lesson each night to review their Math Facts. *If you do not have internet access please have your child practice the Math Facts with Flash Cards.
Words Their Way-is a School Wide Differentiated Word Study Program. This program is considered our spelling/vocabulary program. It takes place of the traditional spelling lists used in the past.
Every student is placed in a leveled group according to a specific grade level assessment, then placed into groups. On Monday’s, your child will learn the pattern or rule for their new sort each week. I will be posting the Sorts on Monday’s for you to print out at home each week.
Please follow the directions on the WEEKLY HOMEWORK tab and have your student submit their homework each night.
At Quest, we do not give homework over the weekends or holiday breaks.

Yes, for now. Homework will increase as we begin to increase the workload during class time. 🙂
