Math Practice

Yesterday our class mastered Lesson 24 in math. The standard is that “I can add tens and add ones.” While this seems very simple, our class did struggle with it. If you have some extra free time the next couple of days, please take a moment and review this with your student. Give them problems similar to these and ask them to show you how to solve it. Hopefully your students will use the “Stack them” method of solving the problems. It is really important that they understand this concept because our next lesson is learning how to add bigger numbers and carry the ten to the tens place. Thank you so much!
