December 11, 2012
I think holiday cheer is in full force. Our classroom is one of chatter and holiday excitement. I believe it is safe to begin a final countdown. Only 9 more school days until Christmas break. Make sure under your Santa cap you have your thinking cap. We have lots of learning to achieve in the next 9 days. 🙂
Reading: Read and log minutes. Remember you must log minutes in order to participate in our December reading fun.
Language Arts: Tuesday WTW Work and Tuesday fluency.
Mathematics: 10 minutes or mastery whichever comes first, IXL R.10 Area. Multiplication mastery test Friday 3’s and 4’s.
Also, any center assignments not completed during centers need to be finished at home. Below is a picture of today’s board assignments. Students have nearly 90 minutes to complete all center assignments. 🙂
Example:
Letter to Santa Rough Draft
Example:
Country Report Rough Draft
PS Whenever possible the kids go outside for recess. Sometimes it is pretty cold outside please help them to remember to dress warm. 🙂
Merry Christmas
Mrs. H
