UPDATE!!! Dang Mother Nature. After weeks of sweltering heat she pushes in a rainstorm that is covering up the moon! Take a look at the night sky and we will talk about it tomorrow!
Hello!
Did you know that the moon has moon rise time and a moon set time just like the sun? Tonight is a full moon and the moonrise time is 7:51. In about a month the moon rise time will be late at night. Tonight is a perfect time to observe the full moon.
Science: Observe the full moon and write three things you observed. You may write them on a paper and bring them into class, or comment on the blog.
Reading: Tonight read for six minutes. Record your reading minutes online.
Parents:
I still need 5 parents to complete the Parent Information form. I will send home printed forms for any missing tomorrow.
Just a couple of media release forms are needed. Tomorrow we will be using the computers. I can not allow any child onto a computer who does not have the form signed. I will send home the form tonight for those that I need.
Picture Day is Thursday!! Students should have brought home their picture form yesterday. If you need additional information please email me.
Thank you for sending me your children they are a great group of kids.

The clouds covered the moon and I couldn’t see it. I checked two times after soccer practice and it was hidden both times. I have seen the moon before and it was big and round, white with gray spots and it looks like a face.
Oh No! Well, did you notice anything about the clouds? Did they seem like they were lit up? We will have to talk about this tomorrow in class. It is a good thing there is a full moon every month.
