Hello,
We have a lot of exciting activities planned this week in our classroom. I need lots of parent help to make sure the students have a great time.
First: Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 we will have an artist coming to our classroom. I would love to have 2-3 parents there to help with the project she will have for the students.
Second: Also, on Wednesday after school from 3:30-4:15 we need help prepping flower beds. This means loosing up the soil and preparing the beds for tulip planting. Please bring a shovel! 🙂
Third: Thursday (1-3) I need a couple of parent volunteers to help with tulip planting. We will have a presentation from a Thanksgiving Point employee teaching the students about Tulips. Afterwards each student will be given a Tulip to plant. Help in managing the students during the planting would be appreciated.
Finally, our classroom has undergone several changes since back to school night. I am asking that everyone please sign up for parent teacher conference again. You can sign up by commenting below with your first and second choice, or you may come into the school. Sign ups will be on my classroom window. PTC will be October 9th and 10th from 3:30-7:30. Each conference is about 10 minutes.
