Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Spring Break. I know I enjoyed the time with my family, friends, and pillow. 
It is hard to believe but we only have 38 days of school left. We have lots and lots left to do! Including lots of fun!!

We have 3 more chapters of math to cover before our May 14th math testing date. Expect math homework EVERY NIGHT!  

Our first test will be writing which is scheduled for April 21st and April 22nd. Only two short weeks away. Instead of spelling we will be working on writing and using the spelling skills we have learned this year. NO Spelling Homework. 🙂

Tonight:

Read Read Read Read don’t forget to log your reading minutes.

Math fluency: You need to complete three sessions of Fastt Math each week.

Math: Please complete the attached assignment Chapter 12 Lesson 1. You can complete the assignment on a blank piece of paper. Don’t forget your name and the date.

Fun Activities coming up!

Friday, we have our Reading Reward party! I totaled the reading minutes and you have read 50, 467 minutes this year. That is amazing and I am proud of all of you. I have sent an email home to the kiddos that need to complete an oral book report for the class. This is also available to anyone who would like extra credit in reading.  You will  need to sign the permission slip for Pizza that came home tonight(DUE WEDNESDAY APRIL 9). If it didn’t make it home it is at the bottom of this post.

April 17th! Is our Apple Field Trip. Permission slips went home tonight (DUE FRIDAY APRIL 11). They are also at the bottom of this post just incase they didn’t make it home. This will be a fun adventurous day. Please read the permission slip carefully. At the Apple Store students will be making an IMovie all about them. Tomorrow I will have the details about what they need to do at home for their project.
