Today we had a little fun as we put on our thinking caps on and went to work.
The goal was to build the tallest, free standing tower, that could hold a giant marshmallow on top.
The only tools the students had to use were 20 uncooked spaghetti noodles, and one yard of tape. Students had 20 minutes to complete the task.
Three groups were able to build a free standing structure.
They were awesome!
Our tallest “tower” was 11 inches tall. the other two towers were 10 and 10 1/2 inches tall.
I was very proud of all our students as they worked hard and worked together. Hopefully, everyone learned thinking can be fun, sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don’t, and never give up. Here are some pictures of our kiddos at work.
