Hello!
Today we started our first of four Multiplication/Division Chapters. Multiplication is a key skill learned in third grade. We have some exciting plans for third grade as we strive to master all multiplication facts 0-9. Below is the parent welcome letter for the chapter. Important to know is the vocabulary. Please take some time to review the vocabulary I promise it will help when it comes to helping your child with homework.
I also want you to know how awesome your kiddos are doing. We took our post test on subtraction on Wednesday. As a class our pre-test average was 14%. That was a little scary! Our post test average was 81%!! You all did an amazing job we had a lot of 100% and students who missed only one or two problems. WAY TO GO!!!! Have a great weekend Friends!
