Happy Friday!

Our first week of third quarter is over.

Next Friday will be the 100th day of school. It will also be the POQA read-a-thon. Pledge sheets should have come home. I will allow students to bring a small pillow and blanket to rest on while reading. It is also a dollar dress down day.

Please remember to send a dollar we have to send students to the office to call home if they do not have a dollar.

I am giving out Weber State Basketball tickets for students who read and log 60 minutes of reading over the weekend.

Yesterday, I was out and had a sub. Many of my students were given a good report on work completion and behavior. A few were not. Students who were good received 10 class dojo points. Those students that were not were given negative 10. 

Unfortunately, third grade has been experiencing some bullying behavior. Earlier this week a students lunch was stolen and hidden. Also, during lunch we have students who are picking on each other. Next week we will be discussing and learning about bullying. Monday we will be watching a movie about bullying to start off our learning week. Please take some time to talk to your child.
