Reading: 20 minutes and log minutes online
Mathematics: IXL, Third Grade, section B.2
Have a great Thursday night. Remember all reading logs and math minutes are due tomorrow.
Mrs. Hutchinson
I know we’ve had a late start to the school year, but I don’t know what math minutes are? Is this the IXL math homework she’s doing every night?
When I give the students an assignment in IXL I ask that they work on the assigned section for a minimum of 10 minutes. The way IXL is set up they could work on a section for a long time before they completed the section. I do not want them to become frustrated with the concept so they may stop at 10 minutes. On the flip side they could master the section in under 10 minutes. The goal is to spend at least 10 minutes a day practicing math skills.
