Welcome Back!

Are you ready for another learning filled week? We have lots to do this week and a field trip. All pictures for your IMovie were due today. If you did not bring your pictures today please bring them tomorrow. Instructions for the pictures are below.

Homework Tonight:

Reading: Please watch the video on the “How do Plants Grow” science page and respond to the questions. Use complete sentences when you respond.

Math Fluency: Three sessions of Fast Math are due by Saturday night. Remember this is part of your homework grade. Last week only 8 students received full credit. Each Fast Math session is about 5 minutes. 

Math: Today we took our Chapter 12 post test and we have started to review for our year end test. Tonight log onto Kahn Academy and work for 15 minutes. Also, an addition worksheet with regrouping is coming home today. Students may complete this worksheet for extra credit. 1 Point for every correct answer that shows work.

We will be working on review and the last two chapters of math over the next month.

Apple Field Trip!

On our Apple Field Trip each student will be making an IMovie all about him/herself. Students will need about 20 pictures to complete their IMovie and a favorite song. You can send the pictures in one of two ways.

First, upload the 20 pictures and song to a thumb drive. 

Second, upload the 20 pictures and a song to your students file on our class drop box. This is super simple all you have to do is email me and I will send you the username and password.

Please have the pictures and song uploaded (returned to class) by Monday April 14, 2014. This week we will be making video recordings of each student that will need to be added to their file.

I’m making this a tad bit more complicated but I think the students will enjoy working on a project all about them. If you have any questions please let me know.
