Happy Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We have 5 weeks of school left!! So much to do so little time. We will continue having after school tutoring until May 23, 2014. If you need help with homework or want to improve your reading and math skills please join us right after school Monday-Thursday. The tutoring schedule is posted on all third grade teacher’s windows.

Homework Tonight:

Reading: Please read the article about the Amazon rain forest posted under the science tab. After you are done reading click on the link at the bottom of the screen and answer 5 short questions about what you read.

Math Fluency: 3 Fast Math sessions are due at the end of each week. Students no longer have this assignment once they pass off multiplication. We have 3 students who have completed multiplication. WOO WOO!!

Math: Starting this week I will be posting a review sheet on Monday that is due on Thursday. Please make sure you can do all the problems by yourself. If you have questions let me know. This assignment will help prepare you for your year end math test. Chapters 4-7 review

Field Trip Announcement…. We have the opportunity to attend Thanksgiving Point’s Tulip Festival. The permission slip and all details are below. Permission Slips are due tomorrow! We will be going Friday May 2, 2014. I will post the chaperones who are selected to attend Tuesday night on the blog.
