Hello Class,
Today we started writing about our favorite vacation. I love going on vacation. To me a vacation is anytime I do something different and my whole family is there. Meaning sometimes a vacation can even be a fun day at the park, pool, or fair. I have a lot of family who live in California so we often travel to Bakersfield California. Bakersfield is about 90 minutes away from Disney Land. However, I have only been to Disney Land twice. One of my favorite things about driving to California are the windmills that cover the hillside in Modesto California. They are so cool to watch when they are spinning. It is amazing to think about how they are producing electricity. Below is a picture.
One of my favorite vacations I went on was to Hawaii. My daughter was on a soccer team that had a competition in Hawaii so we traveled six hours by plane to get to Oahu. It was an amazing adventure. I love the ocean and would love to live close to the ocean all the time. Today I want you to comment below what was your favorite vacation. What did you see or like the most while on vacation?

I went to Cristl hot springs and had a grate time going down the water slide and swiming
i seen a lot of people in the simpsons costumes.i saw some hotels and i rode the tram. i went to m and m world. and coke a cola world. i went swimming at the excalaber. i seen david copperfield he is a magian.i seen a lot of palm trees. i stayed in a room with a flat screen tv.
we went down a lot of waterslides and we swam in a 8ft. pool it was fun. their was a lot of poeple their.
My favorite vacation was going to Colorado.My favorite part was going to a Rockies baseball game.
My favorite vacation was when i went to Oregon with my Papa Dave. We built a fort and caught huge slugs.

I am going to California on May 10th,2012.
My favorite place was Neuschwanstein Castle that was by Bavaria germany and we also went to the highest point of the mountain in germany using the cable car. the highest point of the mountain in germany in called the zugspitze.
My favorite vacation was our Caribbean cruise my family went on. We got to eat ice cream all day!!! And my grandma and grandpa went too! It was fun.
My favorite vacation was this summer when my family went to Nauvoo to see my Grandma. I also loved when we went to Yellowstone. My favorite parts were watching Old Faithful, getting a souvenir and feeding the Bears.
Going to Oregon and seeing Mount Hood it was an awesome sight! We stayed at are church friends’ grandma’s house. We went to the beach and played half of the day and had a very fun time!
My favorite vacation is a cruise. The water is beautiful.
I would love to go on a cruise. My husband talks about it all the time but I’m afraid I would get sick. Did you get sick?

Today I flew on a plane for the first time. We flew from Utah to New Mexico. I thought it was really fun.We went to get my mom and then we are driving back and get to stop at all the sights on the way back. We went to a science museum and learned about light and how it bends and could write with light, we learned about wind and power and how flight is possible. It was fun because I got to everything it was hands on. I also made a bubble taller than my dad.
It sounds like you are having a lot of fun. I would love to see the bubble taller than your dad. Was it a bubble gum bubble? That would be a lot of gum to chew. I hope you are enjoying your vacation we miss you.

Today we went to roswell museum of art. we saw art by local artists. My favorite was the big necklace i liket the rain drops that where down the wall. It was fun see you monday.
