Wow! I am super impressed with all of your reading. I can’t believe that we are almost to 5,000 minutes. Keep it up and we may win a special surprise from the administration.
I know that the holidays are a busy time of the year but we still need to work hard at school and keep focused. Next week homework will only be reading so work really hard this week.
Reading: Read, read, read and log minutes. All but 8 students logged last week GREAT JOB!!!
Language Arts: Monday WTW work, Monday Fluency, and Spelling City spelling test and vocabulary test due Friday.
Mathematics: IXL Perimeter R.7 (students who mastered this last time are excused). Practice, practice, practice for your multiplication mastery test. Students must achieve an 80% or higher to move on to the next number. This week we have students taking 3’s and 4’s mastery test.
Announcement:
Friday is a dollar dress down day. The money raised will be donated to the Angel tree in the 5-9 building. This tree helps families at Quest.
How do you want them to log their minutes from the weekend? Can we do a lump sum of the whole time or do you want individual days? Thanks!
Yes, they can log their minutes from the weekends. Also, they do not need to do the summary on the weekends because that is technically homework. If they do a lump sum during the week they should try to do two sentences per day. So 8 sentences. 🙂
Fantastic! Thanks!!
