Hello, In class today we drew the names for the parents who will be able to attend the field trip with us as chaperones. These parents will ride the bus with us to the Ogden Nature Center and their cost of admission will be covered. Other parents who wish to attend may drive themselves and pay the admission cost. I wish there was a way to allow all parents to go without the expense. The Students’ Parents who were selected Kason Alyssa Alexis Brynlie Dycen Our next field trip will be the 22nd of May. All parents that wish to go may go. We are only asking that they pay the 5.00 field trip fee to cover the front runner expense. Thank You. Mrs. Hutchinson

Hello! A quick reminder that both your students Star reading and math records need to be signed and returned. Also, field trip permission slips for the Ogden Nature Center along with $2.00 need to be returned. Our next field trip will be on the 22nd of May to the Apple store at City Creek and the Clark Planetarium. This field trip will cost $5.00 per student. The fee covers transportation cost. I will be sending out a permission slip next Monday. I will need your child’s shirt size and if you are going as a chaperone your shirt size. There is no limit on the number of parents allowed to go to the Apple Store, please no other children. I do need to know if you are going by Tuesday of next week so that I can include your train ticket in my order. Please note all chaperones will also have to pay $5.00. ALSO!! The cafeteria staff sent out the following message today: Please start reminding students that everyone will need to bring a home lunch the last Friday of the month, May 24th and the last day of school, Tuesday, May 28th. Neither of the kitchens will be open and we will not have any provisions for emergency lunches. As a reminder, provisions for emergency lunches are running low and we will not be reordering any items, we will make do with what we have as leftovers from previous lunches. So please ensure that all students are either on the lunch list or are calling home – well before lunch service – and having a lunch brought for them.

Hello, Can you believe that there is only two Mondays of school left? This morning students took their last third grade Star Reading test. Each of them will be bringing home their Star reading record tonight. Please sign and return the record tomorrow. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Also, students will be bringing home their permission slip for the Ogden Nature Center field trip. Please sign and return by Friday. Thank You, Mrs. Hutchinson PS I just caught the typo saying the permission slip needs to be returned by the 16th. It should say the 10th. Can we blame this on summer brain? 🙂
