Read for 20 minutes and log Language Arts: Complete the adverb worksheet. Below Mathematics: IXL E.8 Multiply by 10. Read-a-thon: Tomorrow is our read-a-thon. We will read in our classroom from 10:00-11:00. Students need to make sure they have a book they want to read for 1 hour. Students may bring a blanket and pillow to read on. It is a dress down day so students may wear casual clothing. However, they are still going to be playing outside so dress accordingly.

Hello All, Due to the short week homework will not include Words Their Way. There will be a grammar worksheet for Language Arts  daily. If you need me to print these off this week and send them home please let me know. Math homework for the next few weeks will include review of materials we have learned throughout the year. This is to help students to remember previous math concepts, prepare for year ending testing, and prepare for fourth grade. Please allow your child to work independently so that I am able to evaluate if they need more in class help. The homework will be assigned on IXL where I am able to see how quickly the students complete the work and what level they are able to master the work in a given time. It is a great evaluation tool for me and your student. Reading logs for POQA are coming home tonight. I have had the students attach a printout of their online reading minutes. Today we were watching a Disney produced video about the first 11 presidents. This is a curriculum based video designed for 3-8th graders. I will confess to not previewing the video. The video started out with quotes from several presidents. One of the quotes was from Lyndon B. Johnson who made reference to donkey’s. Except he didn’t use the word donkey. Yes, your children chuckled. I wanted to let you know what happened just incase they brought it up tonight.
