  • I posted about our spring Parent/Teacher Conferences we are having on February 21st (Tues.) and February 23rd (Thurs.) from 3:00-7:00 both nights.  Please go back to that post and sign-up for a time that works best for your schedule.  I’m excited to sit down with every student’s parents.
Math
Spelling Words – We are working on the same words we had last week and we will test this Friday on them.
You will not be typing in sorts for homework.  I will post the pattern we are working on and give examples of the pattern.  You can practice at home, but we will do a lot of practice with the words in class, during centers.
Spelling Unit 12
There are often unique vowel patterns found in words with two or more syllables.  We will be focusing on multisyllabic words with the ending -tion and -sion.

Reading
  • Please have your child read every night for 20 minutes.  You can keep track of your reading minutes on this reading log, or, you can submit your child’s reading minutes under the homework tab, e-submission, reading minutes link.  Make sure that the reading minutes are turned in on Friday, in the folder, or online.
