ANNOUNCEMENTS
- THANK YOU to all the parents who came and helped with our field trip to the planetarium last Friday. We could not do these field trips without you.
- Monday – Library @ 10:30- Please remember to bring your books!
- Thursday – STEM Lab @10:30
- Play Practice is in full swing. Parts were given out last week and students are responsible for their own costumes. I will post pictures of costumes last year to give you an idea. Our play will take place on Tuesday, May 16th at 2:00 in the Q1 gym. We will have a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, May 9th at 9:00 in the Q1 gym. Costumes need at the dress rehearsal so we can practice with them on. I will also post the parts on the blog in case your child has not told you what he/she is.

- We will be working on prefixes again this week and how adding a prefix can change the meaning of the base word.
- Ex: like (base word) dislike (base word with added prefix)
- I will post these words on Monday (sorry I did not post them last week)
- Please have your child read every night for 20 minutes. You can keep track of your reading minutes on this reading log, or, you can submit your child’s reading minutes under the homework tab, e-submission, reading minutes link. Make sure that the reading minutes are turned in on Friday, in the folder, or online.
