- Canned Food Drive – We start our canned food drive this week and it will continue on for the next two weeks. Please bring in canned foods to go towards the food banks for the upcoming holidays.

- Wednesday – Be a hero and stand up to bullying! (Superhero/Team Jersey Day)
- Thursday – Scare away negativity! (Crazy Hair Day)
- Friday – Become the better you by reaching out to others! (5 Food Cans for a Dress Down Day)
- Our Halloween Parade and Party. The parade will start around 9:00am on Halloween day and go until around 10:00. Parents are welcome to go to the Q2 gym and watch the parade. We will then have our class party from 10:00ish to 11:30. I am still looking for parents to help out with this. Please let me know ASAP. I also need you to fill out a food permission form for your student. The school requires us to have a food permission form from parents in order to allow you child to eat anything at school. Please click here to fill out the food permission form.
- We do not have school on November 1st! This is a Wednesday and a teacher work day.
- Thursday, Nov. 9th, third grade will have their first field trip. We will be going to Fremont High School to see their production for Cinderella. I will be sending home the permission form on Monday. We are asking for a $4.00 donation to cover the buses to get us to and from the play. This money can be paid at the office or online. I will post more information about this later this week. Please check back for details.
This week for spelling, we will be focusing on words that have silent consonants. There is a is a list of words under the homework tab is you would like to review with your child at home.
In math we are moving on to quadrilaterals. We will spend the next two weeks learning about the properties of quadrilaterals.
