ANNOUNCEMENTS
Reading
- Monday – Library @ 10:30- Please remember to bring your books!
- SAGE Testing Starts this week. Make sure that your child is on time to school, well rested, and has had a good breakfast. I will be giving students peppermint gum during testing. (See the SAGE post about the benefits of peppermint gum.) If you do not want your child to have gum, please let me know.
- Writing – Tuesday, April 25th @ 8:40-9:40
- Writing – Thursday, April 27th @ 9:50-10:50
- Play Practice is in full swing. Parts were given out last week and students are responsible for their own costumes. I will post pictures of costumes last year to give you an idea. Our play will take place on Tuesday, May 16th at 2:00 in the Q1 gym. We will have a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, May 9th at 9:00 in the Q1 gym. Costumes need at the dress rehearsal so we can practice with them on. Pinterest is a great place to look for ideas on the costumes. Here a picture from last year and the costumes.

- We will be working on suffixes this week. The suffixes are: -ing, -ed, -en, and -ful.
Reading
- Please have your child read every night for 20 minutes. You can keep track of your reading minutes on this reading log, or, you can submit your child’s reading minutes under the homework tab, e-submission, reading minutes link. Make sure that the reading minutes are turned in on Friday, in the folder, or online.
