Reading

- Thursday – We will be painting our scenery for our class play this day @ 1:30. I would love some parents to come and help this day. Please let me know if you would be interested in helping out.
- Friday – Short day and Cinco De Mayo School Carnival – Click for Details
- Play Practice is in full swing. Parts were given out last week and students are responsible for their own costumes. I will post pictures of costumes last year to give you an idea. Our play will take place on Tuesday, May 16th at 2:00 in the Q1 gym. We will have a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, May 9th at 9:00 in the Q1 gym. Costumes need at the dress rehearsal so we can practice with them on. Pinterest is a great place to look for ideas on the costumes. Here a picture from last year and the costumes.
Spelling Words
- We are still working on suffixes this week. The suffixes are: -ing, -ed, -en, and -ful. I will post our words this week.
Reading
- Please have your child read every night for 20 minutes. You can keep track of your reading minutes on this reading log, or, you can submit your child’s reading minutes under the homework tab, e-submission, reading minutes link. Make sure that the reading minutes are turned in on Friday, in the folder, or online.
