Picture Day is Monday, August 22nd Wear school UNIFORMS (in the Spring there will be a dress down picture day). Flyers went home on Friday, but after looking at the class mailboxes, many flyers did not make it home.  You can pay online at: Bell Photographers https://store.bellphoto.com

Print your receipt & enclose in payment envelope, and if you did not get a flyer, you can send in the receipt and I will make sure that the gets in the envelope.

Class Disclosure Signature and Pictures on Blog Release form!

Last Week of School!

I cannot believe the title for this post!!  This year has been amazing and I am going to miss your children so much!  We have a busy week ahead of us. 
  • No homework this week!
  • Today we started creating food truck menus and we will work on them all week.
  • Wednesday afternoon, we will be working on creating an iMovie with pictures from the school year (if you have any photos of our class, please send them to me ASAP)!
  • Thursday, art books go home along with a whole lot of other stuff.  We will be cleaning this day! This is an early out day at 1:00!
  • Field Day is on Friday, May 27th. This is our last day of school, FREE Dress Down Day and early out at 1:00. Please have your children wear their tie dyed shirts to school on Field Day. **Send a bag lunch with your child on this day. No school lunch will be provided.**

Free Dress Down Day on Friday!!!

Third grade won the box tops for the third time this year!! This means that we get a free dress down day on Friday.  We will be wearing our shirts that we tie dyed.  I will send the shirts home with students on Thursday.  Thanks for sending in all of your box tops!!!

Volunteers needed with painting scenery!!

Parents, 
On Friday, the 13th, our class will be painting our scenery for our class play.  We will start around 12:50 and paint until we are finished.   We will be painting outside if the weather is good.  If the weather is bad, we will be painting inside the classroom.  Our class needs help with this project.  If you would be willing to help out, please let me know.   The more the merrier!!
I am also looking for refrigerator size boxes to use in our class play.  If you have any, or know where we can get some, please let me know asap!

Homework of the Week of May 9th!

Announcements

  • SAGE Testing this week!  Tuesday and Wednesday @ 12:30. 
  • We are finished with sorts for the rest of the year.  Our class will be focusing on the 300 site words that third graders should know.  We will still have spelling tests, but I will not be sending home spelling words to practice.  We will work on the words in class.
  • We are now reviewing for math SAGE practice.  Make sure that your child is here every day. 
  • If you have any pictures from any field trip or class party, please send them to me. Thanks!
  • Our class play will be on Thursday, May 19th at 2:00 pm.  Mark your calendars!!!  Our dress rehearsal will be on Wednesday, 18 at 9:00 am.  If you cannot make the play in the afternoon, you can come to the dress rehearsal.  All costumes must be here by the morning of the 18th for our dress rehearsal.
  • All costumes will need to be ready for the dress rehearsal, so start thinking of costume ideas.  Pinterest is a great place to get ideas from.  If you need ideas, feel free to email me.
