Welcome back! Hope you had a marvelous Thanksgiving Break! We have a busy and fun 3 weeks ahead!
I have sent emails to parents who are coming on the field trip, thank you to all those who have volunteered.
ELA: We will learn to ask and answer questions from expository texts to determine their text structure and explain how text structure contributes to the overall meaning of the text. Additionally, we will practice phonics with an emphasis on vowel team syllables, enhancing our reading and pronunciation skills.
Math: In mathematics, we will begin working with fractions. We will learn that fractions are the division of a numerator by the denominator so we can use measurements in real-world situations.
Science: We begin our second science standard, properties of matter, with a field trip Monday morning. This standard will unpack properties, changes, and conservation. We will work with this standard until February.
