As part of next week’s homework (yes, our first week of full homework is next week!), we will be doing Animal Reports.  They are not due until next Friday, along with the rest of the homework.  However, the kids are SO excited about starting them, that I told them that I would post the form for the Animal Report  on the blog in case they wanted to get a head-start.

Your child should know exactly which animal he/she is reporting on, since they were assigned in class today.  Please assist your child in researching the animal, using any means: books, encyclopedias, internet, etc.  Please encourage your child to write very neatly, since he/she will need to read his/her own handwriting when the form is brought back to class.
