Math: This week we began working on adding and subtracting fraction with unlike denominators. We also learned how to convert a mixed number in to a improper fraction.
Art: In December, the hallway outside of our classroom will be decorated with artwork that our class has created based on the famous ballet, The Nutcracker. The deadline for finishing book report books is the end of the second quarter , which is January 12th. Although there is no homework during Thanksgiving break, it is a great opportunity for catching up on reading, practicing writing on Utah Compose, or working on math skills on Front Row, Prodigy, and Reflex math.
