*I will be handing out permission slips for our maturation program at the parent-teacher conference. The program will be held on March 13th from 8:45 am – 9:45 am for girls, and 9:45 am – 10:45 am for boys. You are invited to attend with your student.
Here is a look at what’s happening in our class this week…..
Monday: No school – Presidents Day (we will still have homework)
Friday: Early out
Social Studies: Continuing westward expansion research & Google Slides
Math: Students will be able to use formulas to find the volume of rectangular prisms and composite prisms:
*Math tutoring is available every Thursday after school from 3:00 – 3:30.
Science – Heredity: Students will understand that traits are passed from parent organisms to their offspring and that sometimes the offspring may possess variations of these traits that may help or hinder survival in a given environment.
