GAME TO PLAY AT HOME
Making Ten with Ten Frame
You will need:
*playing cards with numbers (uno cards) or cut number cards out that are found in “Home Folder”
* 2 sets units/manipulatives
How to play:
Set aside one 10 card and place it to the side of the ten frame to show your child this is the number we are making. Have them choose a card from the pile. Have them fill in the ten frames using the same unit to reflect the number they choose. Last, have them fill in the remaining spots with different units to complete their ten frames. Have them write the equations that they created. (6+4=10)
