Hello!
My name is Mr. Nathan and this is my 7th year at Quest Academy. I’m super excited to be teaching Fifth Grade and we are going to have so much fun as we become amazing readers, mathematicians, and scientists.
I come from a family of 7 kids, there are 6 boys and 1 girl, I’m number 5 in birth order. I was raised in Plain City and attended Fremont High School. I received my Bachelor’s in elementary education from Western Governors University. I spent 2 years in Kansas and now live in West Haven.
In August 2020, I married my beautiful wife and best friend Paityn. We have a Goldendoodle puppy, and her name is Indie. In July of 2024, we welcomed our little boy Brooks into our family. We have had a lot of fun traveling to Cabo, Vegas, Park City, Florida, California, and Cancun. So far Cabo is my favorite place, followed by Harry Potter World in Florida.
When I’m not busy planning amazing lessons for 5th Graders, I enjoy playing and watching any kind of sports, especially lacrosse. I’m a huge fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Utah Jazz. If either of these two teams are playing, you’ll find me watching them on TV. My dream would be to see the Ravens in person. Another interesting fact about me is that I love to read books with the Harry Potter series being my favorite, as you may have guessed when you looked at my blog.
I’m sure you’ll get to know even more about me as we work together to have a magical year here at Quest. I am SUPER excited to teach Fifth graders, and I’m sure I’ll learn a thing or two from them as well!
