Students will answer questions on the first day of school. After they have responded to the question we will tally up their points and proceed.
Yes, the sorting hat will be used. The hat will be placed over their head and I will announce “what the sorting hat is thinking”
I will explain to them the houses in this way.
Gryffindor= Being Brave and having Determination
Hufflepuff= Being a Friend to all and hard-working
Ravenclaw= Being Wise and Intelligent
Slytherin= Being Ambitious and A Strong Leader
Just as in the books and movies they will earn points for their house for good choices and lose points for sad decisions. At the end of the year, the house with the most points will be awarded the House Cup.
