Sort and Reading Log
Word Sorts
Monday-ABC Sort
- Each night, every student will be responsible for 20 minutes of reading, a math assignment, and a word sort on their specific sort group. Raz Kids username is nyoung23
- Each sort will be worth 5 points. The week’s reading log will also be worth 5 points.
- Math will be directly tied to what was done in class that day. I will have pdf links of the math assignment and the key (for parents/guardians) on the homework blog post.
- Be sure to read the assignment because it won’t always be for every number on the page. Sometimes it will only be odds, evens, or a specific set.
- If you would rather not print out the assignment, students are welcome to write their work and answers on a piece of lined paper. It will only be accepted if it is neat and legible.

Can you please tell me what i need him to do with word sort. He is telling me he doesn’t know how .
We have been doing them in class, but I will go over it again with him today.
Do they do Raz Kids each night? Beth is wondering. Thanks.
They can use Raz Kids for their reading minutes, but they don’t have to. It is up to them.
Thanks. I’ll let her know.
