I was born in Okinawa, Japan on a Naval Air Base where my dad was stationed. I was able to move all around the country meeting new people and having experiences that I never would have if not for our semi-nomadic lifestyle. One of the perks of moving around so much was that my family and I were able to visit museums, monuments, national parks, historical sites, and art galleries around the country. This was an amazing time for my family and me to grow closer and experience all the country has to offer.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities with an Art History emphasis. I earned my teaching certification from Weber State University. I went back to Weber State to get my master’s degree.
When I think of my favorite things to do it ranges from scuba diving to reading. I also have a passion for teaching :), music, cooking, and the ocean. I love to swim and going on adventures; specifically traveling all over the world. I love shopping at Target and thrift stores. I love Korean food and Diet Dr.Pepper. Being part of the Quest family gets better every year! I am looking forward to getting to know parents and students.
