Math Homework: **NOTE: Please check your child’s work for ACCURACY. Several homework pages have been turned in lately with incorrect answers (especially story problems because the students see two numbers and automatically think they add the two numbers, but that’s not always the case). Thank You!
*Complete every other problem (alternate between evens and odds) on the worksheets that will be coming home in the blue folder on Monday October 12 (No need to print anything out)
*Practice your math facts (addition and subtraction) regularly by utilizing any of the math facts activities listed here: Math Facts Activities (You might try activity #7: Front Row Ed Fact Practice if you haven’t already. Students who don’t like being timed are really liking this one! Our class code is 423neg)
*Parents-please initial the “Math Homework” verification sheet attached to the worksheets and turn in on Wednesday.
This is a great week to catch up on any missing homework. First term grades will be finalized on Thursday, October 22nd. All in class and homework assignments need to be turned in by that date to receive credit.
For missing reading minutes send a note with student’s name, the due date, parent signature and the number of minutes read that week.
