Harriet Tubman
We have really enjoyed learning about the great sacrifices of Harriet Tubman. As a “conductor” in the Underground Railroad, she helped slaves escape to freedom in the North. She served as a spy during the Civil War. With her husband she built a home to care for elderly slaves. And in 2020, her face will be seen on the new $20 bill. Special thanks to Mrs. Fuller for her exciting presentation of Harriet Tubman!
