Grow Lab
We had the privilege of starting our grow lab experience this week and each student planted their own Brassica Rapa seeds (a type of mustard plant). For the next 40 days we will observe, study, and learn about plants and their life cycle. We’ve dissected a lima bean to observe the parts of a seed. You might ask your child some of the following to see if they can remember what we’ve talked about:
1. What does a botanist study?
2. What’s a baby plant called?
3. What three things does a seed need to wake up (germinate)?
