Goodbye Painted Lady Butterflies!

We said goodbye to our butterflies yesterday!  It must have been a little too windy, because it was hard to coax them out of their habitat and once they flew out, they flew away fast!  Often, they will land on the students before flying off, but we still enjoyed watching them and having them in our classroom the last few weeks as they changed from caterpillars to butterflies.  What an amazing life cycle to witness!
